How often should I clean the Condenser on my Subzero Product?
Subzero recommends cleaning the Condenser Coil on your Subzero Product every 3-6 months, more often if you have pets. Sterling Service offers a Preventative Maintenance Service for this regular maintenance. Our experienced Technicians will clean the Condenser and check over the operation of the Unit to ensure it is performing properly. Not all Subzero products have Water Filters. On new Built-In Models starting with "BI", UC-15I(P) & Pro 48 Models you will find the Water Filter located in the Condenser Area behind the Grill. New Integrated Models starting with "I" will have a Water Filter located behind the Access Door at the top of the Unit. There is also an Air Purification Cartridge located in all Built-In Models starting with "BI" & Integrated Models starting with "I" located in the main section on the back wall.
The life of the Filter is dependent on the use of the product and can vary. Typically a Water Filter will need to be changed every 12 months, about 750 gallons of water use. Life of the Air Purification Cartridge is 1 year. The Filter Indicator Lights on the Control Panel will flash when the Filters need to be changed.
Replacement Water Filter and Air Purification Cartridges are not covered under the Product Warranty. Replacement Cartridges can be ordered through subzero.com or through our Office at 800.492.2121.

The Icemaker in my Subzero is not making any ice, is there anything I can do to troubleshoot?
First, ensure that the Icemaker is on, either the word "Ice" should be displayed or a set of ice cubes display on the BI Models. Then ensure that the Ice Bucket is properly in place, the Bucket must make contact with the Switches behind it for the Icemaker to work. Also, the Icemaker Arm should be in the down position.
